The Quality of Your Decision Making will Determine the Direction of Your Church
As church leaders, we face decisions every day. From seemingly small choices like, “Do we sing 3 songs or 4 this Sunday?” to major strategic decisions that can shift the entire congregation, such as, “Should we change our focus to reaching the lost rather than keeping the already reached?” Every decision, whether big or small, has an impact.
The better your decisions, the better your leadership.
However, many church leaders struggle with making decisions. This is often due to the multitude of competing opinions and preferences within the church. As pastors, the desire to be liked can make it challenging to make tough decisions, leading to procrastination and avoidance.
So, how can we overcome these challenges and make better decisions?
I turned to North Point Community Church’s Lead Pastor, Andy Stanley, for some answers.
